I Plan on using this blog to share some of my lesson plan ideas that I have created or am currently working on. I have this habit of getting an Idea for a lesson but not knowing how best to execute it. So I plan on using this site as a kind of online scratch pad to work out my ideas and hopefully get input from other math teachers.
Some examples of lessons I have worked out
I have a lesson on the Law of Sines that involves splitting the class into two groups as competing art thieves that are robbing a museum.
There is a zombie survival Scenario where the class is a group of survivors and have to use some basic algebra to make it through each day and to prepare for the night of zombie attacks.
A couple ideas I have brewing
I really want to make a Golf themed lesson about parabola's (so that I can wear some knickers and a rad sweater to class)
Also after the recent passing of wrestling legend Macho Man Randy Savage I want to find a way to create a pro wrestling lesson (I have a Macho Man outfit that needs to be worn)
